As a Paralympics spectator sport at world class level wheelchair rugby is great to watch; with end-to-end action, big hits, full on thrills, spills and lots of goals. At the Sydney Olympics, the games pulled in crowds in excess of 10,000.
The Great Britian team have an excellent and consistent level record of achievement on the world stage. The GB team are seen by the sporting world as one of Britains greatest hopes for 2012 being one the only UK sports ranked just under the podium level. The history so far ........

Coach Joe Soares
Beside having world class atheletes with the hearts of lions and the true spirit of Commradeship and sportsmanship second to none. The Elite Squad is coached by world renowned Joe Soares lead star of the US Bafta Nominated film Murderball and former US player. Joe is reconised throughout the world not only for his outstanding record of achievement as a former athelete but today as one of the worlds greatest coaches. Born in Portugal Joe moved to the US Joe is the only player to have participated in 13 consecutive US National Championships. Joe has coached Canada currently ranked 3rd in the world and beaten by UK's Elite team in New Zelealand World championships.
The Elite is managed by a formiable team of professionals including Tom Oconnor a RFU trained coach and ex Naval Marine, Mark (Fossy) Fosbrook, Senior representatives from UK sport and and a team of technical mechanics and health support professionals seen as valued team players that make it all happen.
